Your Home for Screen Replacement
Facts About Frames
Your windows come with factory-manufactured screens. Depending on the quality and cost of your windows, these screens tend to be low in quality and, because of this, don’t last very long. We make the replacement screens for any windows. Our replacement screens are made by skilled craftsmen who carefully make to order every screen. This means the screens we make for your windows will be of a much higher quality and thus will last you years longer than the original equipment.
These are the options you have available for most replacement screens.
Rolled Aluminum Frames
These are the most common frames used on a large majority of new windows. Most manufacturers use roll-formed aluminum with plastic corners. They are inexpensive and easy to manufacture, keeping the overall cost down.
Extruded Aluminum Frames
Sliding and swinging screen doors are a must for extruded frames. Screens used in porches and patios would also require extruded frames to hold larger screens tight. Extruded aluminum frames are generally not needed in screens used in windows.
Lip Frames
These are for those complicated window frames. The lip allows a more straightforward installation into larger window frame channels.
