Replace or repair?

If you have a screen that’s been torn or pushed through, we can drop in a new screen easily. If you have a bent or broken frame it’s a bit more challenging but not impossible. The best thing you can do is to bring the screen to us. Our technician can diagnose the situation and provide the best solution.

How often should I clean my screens?

Clean those screens annually. Remove them from the window and place them on a flat surface. Using soap, water, and a sponge, wipe them until clean. Then gently hose them off. Please, no pressure washing. The air we breath is extremely important. If there’s built-up dust and dirt gathered on those screens, it’s coming into the house.

How long will my screens last?

7 - 10 years depending on your environment they are in and how well they have been maintained. Living near salt water or a wetland can shorten the life of a screen. Cleaning them regularly will help to extend their life.

Should I remove my screens in the winter?

Removing your window screens through the winter months, especially in harsh climates, will extend the life of the screens. Store them in a safe, stable, place, away from pets and children.

Do screens come in standard sizes?

No, every screen is made custom to perfectly fit the window they are installed in.
